I am originally from Manchester, England, and moved to the U.S in 1985. After a career in finance on both continents, including owning my own bookkeeping and tax business, in the Cincinnati area, I retired and moved to Oregon with my partner.
My Latest book, Murder on the Columbia Dredge, takes me back to Newport, on the beautiful Oregon Coast.
In 2015 we embarked on a five year journey, traveling across the country in a motorhome. As I had no experience driving a thirty seven foot RV, I relied on God's help. On our travels, we experienced many miracles as we made our way across the country. This marked the beginning of my writing career - I had to write Finding God in an RV.
I had discovered the joy of writing, and as I searched for a new writing direction, it was time to branch out into fiction. I have always enjoyed mystery books and decided to try writing my own. My past financial experience provided an appropriate background for Murder at Eagle's Nest and after the first book I seemed to imagine murders in the most unlikely places.
When our traveling days ended, we settled back in Ohio close to family, and the process of buying a new home led to Murder at Serengeti Plains.
